Let me rave about La Familia. I needed a place for family to get together, that served good food in a quieter environment. When I came into town I tried the food for lunch and the food was authentic and tasty with large portions. So I reserved tables for 15 people. It was a great time as we could hear each other talk without out the background noise you get from other restaurants. We had margaritas and beers, tasty food and good conversation. It's a small cozy restaurant and the staff was attentive and courteous. I asked if I could order a flan single dish with a candle so we could sing happy Birthday. The owner brought out a taramasu cake loaf to serve the whole group AND she gifted it. This will be a unforgettable memory spent with family at La Familia. Ordered the torta with carnitas. It is amazing messy but with the extra napkins. This is big enough to share.
Fantastic food, reasonable prices! Lovely family-run restaurant in a comfortable atmosphere. Love their Chile Colorado lunch, or Carne Asada lunch with grilled onions and bell peppers, and can substitute black beans for refrieds. Our first choice for a dine-in Mexican restaurant!
Truly authentic Mexican food. These ladies know what they are doing. Flavor is outstanding. We had the deluxe cesadia with carnitas and the releno burrito. Items that we have frequently while traveling. These are the best we've ever had. We give ten stars out of five!!!
Very delicious food, made fresh, hot and ready. The owners and staff are very kind and attentive, ensuring that the experience there is nothing but the best. I encourage anyone that reads this post to come give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. The bar has been set for 25 years now.

Lunch was so good I had to order my Dinner to-go for later too! I got the beans and cheese papusa and their delicious cabbage side salad was spicy and acidic enough to compliment the cheese, salt and hardiness of the papusa. 10/10 would go again!
